A Custom Configuration option was added to the setup wizard: set RAM and cores with sliders and see the hourly rate instantly.
Transparent unit pricing
The pricing engine works from the resources you pick, and you can do the arithmetic yourself: a server base, plus each core, plus each GB of RAM. All three unit prices are stated openly in the panel and their sum equals the rate shown on screen; the free 5 GB of disk is part of the server base.
There's no hidden base, no rounding and no free resources. Choose exactly the same resources as a preset package and you pay that package's list price — promotional prices apply only when a preset package is selected.
When is custom the right choice?
Presets cover most uses. Custom configuration helps when you want to set the balance yourself: with few players but a redstone- and mob-heavy world, for instance, you might weight cores over RAM.
Disk is not something you pick: every server gets 5 GB of disk free. If your world grows past it the server expands by itself and you only pay monthly for each GB above the allowance — it is not part of the hourly price.
Plugin and player counts
There's no hard cap on how many plugins or mods you can install. A recommended number based on your package and RAM is shown in the panel; go over it and the panel simply reminds you performance may be affected, leaving the decision to you. The same applies to player counts.
Mod software has its own threshold: mod installs unlock on configurations of 8 GB and above. For detail, see the mods and modpacks guide.
Custom configurations are on the hourly model too and work fully with every panel feature (store, backups, console, file manager, scheduler). You can stop the server later and resize resources up or down.
