Build your silhouette robot, pick your moves, strike on time and topple the champions of eight leagues.

How to play
In the future, a robot league stretches from the scrapyard on the edge of the city to a tower above the clouds, an orbiting station and the league's core, eight leagues in all. Build your robot and pick a move each turn: close in, strike light or heavy, raise your guard, vent an overheating motor, work the crowd. Catch the shrinking ring at the right moment and your blow lands harder; catch it while your rival swings and you parry. Spend the Scrap you win on new parts, train your pilot and topple the champions of all eight leagues. You can also fight 2-4 friends on the same computer, separate from your career: everyone picks from the same types and weapons, nobody starts ahead.
- 1Name your robot, choose its light colour and a starting build: brawler, gunner or bulwark.
- 2Pick a rival from the League tab. In a fight you make one move per turn; a blocked move shows why on its button.
- 3When you strike, a ring shrinks over your rival: press Space or tap the screen as it meets the inner circle. Do the same while your rival swings to parry.
- 4Strikes build heat; at full heat your robot locks up for a turn. Vent dumps heat, but you're exposed that turn.
- 5Clean hits and Show off whip up the crowd; at full hype the Finisher unlocks and pays extra Scrap.
- 6Buy parts in the shop and spend pilot points as you level up. Beat the four rivals to challenge the league champion.
Keyboard
1-9 and 0: moves · arrow keys: advance/back, up lunge, down vent · F light, Z heavy, Backspace guard · Space or Enter: strike / defend on the ring · [ ]: tab or target · Esc: pause
Touch screen
Turn your phone sideways. Tap the move buttons; when the ring lands, tap anywhere on the screen.
Controller
On a controller A strikes or parries on the ring, X is a light hit, Y a heavy hit and B raises the shield; LB and RB switch tabs or targets, and the D-pad moves, dashes up or cools down. In local fights a second controller lets a friend pilot their own robot.

About Spark League
Spark League is a robot fighting career that puts turn-based tactics and split-second reflexes in the same ring. Each turn you calmly pick an action, yet how hard that action lands depends on the moment you press as the ring shrinks. You need to plan like a chess player and time your inputs like a rhythm gamer.
The career spans eight leagues, each with its own roster of rivals and a reigning champion. Scrap earned in matches lets you swap chassis, weapons and parts, while the points you assign to your pilot on every level-up steer your fighting style. Two players who start with the same frame will be piloting very different machines a few leagues later.
What keeps fights tense is the constant bargaining between heat, hype and shield. Aggressive play excites the crowd but overheats the motor; cautious play is safe but delays the Finisher. Whether you prefer quick sessions or long career building, the pacing adapts to you.
Strategy and tips
- Never let the heat gauge max out: losing a turn to a lockup hands your opponent a free heavy hit. Once heat passes the halfway mark and the rival is at range, spend that turn cooling down.
- The parry ring is worth as much as the attack ring. Catching an incoming heavy strike in the inner circle often saves more health than your own light hit would deal.
- When hype is nearly full, close it out with a Show or a safe light hit instead of a gamble. The Finisher ends the bout and pays extra Scrap.
- With the marksman build keep your distance, with the brawler stay glued to the target, and with the fortress raise the shield and let the opponent cook in their own heat.
- Do not spend Scrap on random parts. Study which rival is beating you, then buy the piece that covers that specific weakness.
- You must beat all four rivals before the champion accepts your challenge, so treat those matches as a chance to bank pilot points and test new gear.
Frequently asked questions
- Will I lose my career progress?
- No. Career progress and settings are stored separately in your browser's local storage, so returning on the same browser brings back your robot and league standing. Clearing site data wipes them.
- Can I play with friends?
- Yes. Two to four people can fight on one computer outside the career. Everyone picks from the same frames and weapons, so nobody brings career upgrades into the match.
- What happens if I miss the ring?
- The action still goes through; you only miss the bonus damage or the parry. Timing is a reward rather than a requirement, so sharp tactics can carry a player with slower reflexes.
- Does it work on a phone?
- It does, in landscape. Action buttons are sized for thumbs, and tapping anywhere on the screen triggers the ring at the right moment.
