How to play
You run a mine that sinks into the heart of a mountain. On every floor miners dig ore, the elevator hauls it to the surface, carts take it to the foundry and the ore becomes ingots. The slowest link of the chain sets your whole income: grow evenly, hire foremen, dig deeper and start stronger with a New Vein.
- 1Tap a floor's tunnel: the miners dig and drop the ore into the floor's crate.
- 2Tap the shaft: the elevator goes down, collects the crates and brings them up. Tap the surface: carts take the ore to the foundry and you earn ingots.
- 3Press a unit's Upgrade sign; in the panel below choose ×1, ×10 or Max and upgrade. At milestones you gain miners, speed and load.
- 4Hire a foreman: the unit works by itself and keeps earning while you are away, for up to 8 hours. The foreman's Rush power doubles the speed for a while.
- 5Every 5 floors a new, far more valuable ore appears. After floor 10 open a New Vein: depth seals permanently raise your sales and buy skills.
Keyboard
Choose a unit with Up/Down or W/S (the camera follows), run it with Space, open the upgrade panel with Enter or F. In the panel use Left/Right to pick, Space to confirm, Backspace to close. Q/E buy amount, Z rush, [ Vein, ] Ledger.
Touch screen
Tap floors, the shaft and the surface to run them; drag your finger to move up and down the mine. The Upgrade signs and the big button at the bottom open the upgrade panel.
Controller
Up and down on the D-pad select a unit, A runs it, X opens the upgrade panel and B closes it. LT and RT change the buy multiplier, Y fires the boost, LB opens the Vein screen and RB the Ledger.

About Deep Mine
Deep Mine is a management game in which you run a mine that grows level by level into the heart of a mountain. You begin with a single shaft and a handful of ingots, and over time you can dig down to thirty levels, reaching a new and far more valuable ore every five levels — six ores in all.
What sets it apart from a simple clicker is that production works as a chain. However fast your miners dig, if the elevator cannot keep up or the surface haulers cannot carry the pile to the foundry, income moves at the pace of the slowest link. Every upgrade therefore becomes a little bookkeeping question: which link is holding your money back right now?
In the long run, the New Vein option adds a second layer. You reset the mine and start again with depth seals that permanently raise your sales and can be spent on talents. It suits anyone who enjoys watching numbers grow patiently and fine-tuning an efficient operation.
Strategy and tips
- Find the bottleneck before every upgrade. Ore piling up in level stockpiles calls for a stronger elevator; a growing heap on the surface calls for better haulers. Upgrading miners only helps when the other links are idle.
- Aim for upgrade thresholds. Miner and hauler counts rise at levels ten, twenty-five, fifty, one hundred and two hundred, so if you sit just below one, buying several levels at once is often the best use of ingots.
- Hire foremen first for the units you would otherwise tap most, especially the elevator and the surface. Less manual work lets you focus on opening new levels.
- The boost doubles speed for two minutes and then needs ten minutes to recharge. Fire it right before a big purchase or when you return from a long break.
- Prioritize the levels where a new ore appears; the fifth, tenth and later milestone levels reshape your income almost instantly.
- You do not have to open your first New Vein the moment level ten is reached. Waiting until progress slows down earns you more seals.
Frequently asked questions
- Does the mine keep working while I am away?
- Units with a foreman keep running, and you collect the earnings when you return. Offline income covers up to eight hours.
- When does New Vein unlock, and what does it give?
- It becomes available after you open level ten. It restarts the mine but grants depth seals, which permanently boost sales and can be spent on talents.
- How deep does the mine go?
- Thirty levels, with a new ore every five levels, for six different ores.
- Is my progress saved?
- Yes. Levels, upgrades, foremen and seals are kept in your browser, and the mine is waiting as you left it when you reopen the page.
