Hourly billing instead of monthly packages

With classic hosting you pay a month in advance. The meter runs whether the server is used or not, and the weekdays nobody logs in are on the bill too.

Here the model is different: you're charged only for the hours the server is ON. A group that plays weekends keeps the server off most of the month and pays noticeably less. Stop the server and the meter stops with it.

In return you make no commitment: no subscription, no auto-renewal, no contract. There isn't even a "cancel" action — stopping the server is enough.

Four things that set the price

The hourly rate comes from the resources you choose, not from a package label:

  • RAM — how much world and how many players the server can hold in memory.
  • Allocated cores — they run the per-tick work; on crowded or contraption-heavy worlds they matter as much as memory.
  • Disk — your world grows as it's explored; it scales with the package tier.
  • CPU class — two classes are offered, economical and high-performance; hourly rates differ even at the same RAM.

How hours are counted

Billing is per hour and a started hour counts in full. Open the server and close it ten minutes later and one hour is charged; leave it up for sixty-one minutes and two hours are.

That's more predictable than per-minute metering: the panel shows what you'll pay before you commit, and you don't accumulate odd fractions. The charge is taken at the start of the hour, so you always know how much longer your balance will keep the server running.

What's included at no extra cost

We kept the extras to a minimum so pricing stays legible. The following are part of the hourly rate and are not billed separately:

  • Web panel, live console and file manager.
  • Plugin store and changing your server software.
  • Automatic backups (File Protection) — on for every server.
  • Manual backups and downloading your files.
  • DDoS-protected infrastructure.
  • Signing up — it is free.

File Protection is free and on for every server

File Protection keeps your world in cloud storage independent of the server machine. It is on for every server, costs nothing and cannot be switched off. We take an automatic backup every day, and while your server runs a restore point is created about every half hour. When something goes wrong you restore it from the panel in one click.

The only limit is your server's own disk space: backups accumulate until that space is full, after which no new restore point is taken and your existing backups stay untouched. Delete backups you no longer need from the panel to free up space.

Ways to keep your bill small

  • Leave the idle-sleep setting on — the server puts itself to sleep when nobody is connected, and no charge accrues. It's on by default.
  • Start with a small package and resize up if the community grows; your world stays as it is.
  • If you only play certain evenings, stop the server when you're done — a day spent off produces no bill.
  • The economical CPU class suits most communities; move to high-performance only when you genuinely need it.
  • You never pay extra for backups — File Protection is free on every server.

How payment works

Payment runs through a prepaid wallet: top up any amount and the server draws from it while it runs. Your card isn't stored and nothing is charged automatically.

If your balance runs out the server stops — your data isn't deleted, it stays where it is. Top up and you continue where you left off.

Terms covering unused balance are set out in our refund policy.
