Nine server softwares were added to the setup wizard and the panel: Vanilla, Paper, Purpur, Spigot, CraftBukkit, Fabric, Quilt, Forge and NeoForge.
Two families, one panel
The nine options split into two families. The plugin family (Paper, Purpur, Spigot, CraftBukkit) adds capabilities to the server, and players connect with standard Minecraft. The mod family (Fabric, Quilt, Forge, NeoForge) changes the game itself and requires every player to install the same mod set. Vanilla accepts no additions at all.

Version selection
For every software the version list is fetched live; you pick the Minecraft version you want and install. Setup typically takes a few minutes.
If you're playing for a specific plugin or modpack, pick the version it requires. When a new Minecraft version lands, not every software is ready the same day; the panel only shows versions that are genuinely selectable.
Switching between softwares
Switching happens in the panel: all content from the current family is saved into a profile and the new software is installed clean. You can return to the old profile whenever you like — your worlds and plugins come back as they were.
So trying a software isn't a one-way decision. Even so, taking a manual backup before a big change is a good habit.
Ready-made world templates
Superflat world presets are in the wizard too: classic flat, water world, desert, redstone ready and the void, among others. You can start a creative parkour, a mini-game or classic survival without setting each one up by hand.
